Do You Have A Brand Strategy? Do You Even Know?
Having brand strategy is often overlooked by small business owners, but it's more important than ever.
A well-crafted brand strategy can help your business stand out from the competition and make sure that your customers remember you for all the right reasons.
Developing a strong brand strategy will put you ahead of the game and provide many benefits to both you and your customers.
A comprehensive brand strategy starts with:
- understanding who you are as a business
- what sets you apart from others in the industry
- what type of message do you want to convey to potential customers.
When crafting this strategy, be sure to consider things like company values, customer service experience, product offering, and market positioning. Once these elements have been established they should be consistently implemented across all marketing channels so that your message remains clear to all consumers.
But what if you think you have a Brand Strategy but you don't?
How do you know?
Here are some key indicators to look for:
- First, consider whether the values and mission of your company are clearly defined. This will shape the way customers perceive your brand and inform the types of messages you should be conveying to them.
- Secondly, examine whether there’s consistency between what is said about your brand online or offline through marketing materials and customer service interactions.
- Finally, it’s important to take stock of how loyal customers are to your brand. Do they come back time after time or recommend it to their friends?
If you answered no to the questions above it may be time to figure out your brand, brand strategy and your brand roadmap, before you waste too much time wondering why you're not being seen!
